Short DescriptionCooper University Health Care (CUHC) and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) are actively committed to diversity at all levels of the organization and are seeking an additional Board Certified/Eligible Neonatologist to join the faculty of the Division of Neonatology at The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper. This is a full-time clinical position, but protected time for research (clinical/translational/basic) and administrative responsibilities would be available for the right candidate. Preference will be given to those with 3-5 years post-fellowship experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of teamwork; ability to care for a diverse patient population; excellent communication skills; an interest in academics; and, most importantly, a compelling desire to share our mission “To Serve, To Heal, To Educate.” Candidates should be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. For those interested in basic research, bench space and access to resources will be available. Ongoing laboratory research in the Division of Neonatology includes studies on developmental pulmonary pathology. Education RequirementsChildren’s Regional Hospital at Cooper and the Division of Neonatology at Cooper University Health Care seek candidates for a Neonatologist in the non-tenure, academic clinician track at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Qualified candidates should be board certified/board eligible in Neonatology. Candidates should be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor or Professor at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with qualifications.
