Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and imaginative real-time capture specialist with a strong background in Unreal Engine, Unity, and video post-production. In this creative role, you’ll craft visually compelling gameplay and cinematic content for marketing, social platforms, trailers, and more. You bring storytelling to life through camera work, shot composition, lighting, and editing techniques that highlight the emotion and essence of each game. This is a senior-level role that blends technical know-how with creative intuition, ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative environments and has a passion for immersive visual storytelling in games.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture cinematic and gameplay footage directly from game engines such as Unreal and Unity to create visually dynamic marketing and promotional content.
• Edit raw footage into high-quality trailers, social media clips, and highlight reels using industry-standard tools, with a strong focus on pacing, mood, and narrative.
• Work closely with art, creative, and marketing teams to ensure that all visual materials align with the brand and campaign objectives.
• Stage and choreograph in-game scenes, adjusting lighting, camera placement, and character positioning to achieve cinematic shots.
• Leverage real-time engine capabilities to enhance storytelling and elevate visual impact.
• Stay informed on evolving tools and features within Unreal, Unity, and editing software to optimize workflows and production quality.
• Archive and organize captured content systematically for future use and easy retrieval.
• Troubleshoot technical capture issues quickly and efficiently, maintaining the integrity and timeline of each project.

Core Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience creating in-engine content with Unreal and Unity in a marketing or cinematic production context.
• Extensive editing experience using Adobe Premiere (5+ years), with a portfolio or demo reel showcasing a strong eye for composition, visual storytelling, and polish.
• Background in cinematography, photography, or a related visual field, with a refined sense of lighting, framing, and movement.
• Proven ability to tell engaging stories through gameplay capture and post-production editing.

Preferred Attributes

• Deep passion for video games and an understanding of gameplay mechanics and narrative structures.
• Familiarity with sound syncing, music integration, and basic color grading or post effects.
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and adjust to shifting priorities with ease.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, receptive to feedback but also confident in presenting new ideas and creative solutions.
• Highly detail-oriented with a drive for excellence in every frame delivered.
