Job Description

Our client, a NYC-based investment firm, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support the General Counsel and team. Amazing benefits include generous PTO and a uniquely collaborative culture. This position is fully on site in Midtown Manhattan.

Job Details

• Report to and provide general administrative support to the General Counsel and attorneys
• Keep tabs on legal deadlines and follow up with relevant parties
• Assist with corporate transaction tasks, such as document organization and signature packets
• Draft legal documents, edit, and compare versions
• Handle bank and securities account paperwork
• Review non-disclosure agreements
• Assist in executing investment agreements and related documents
• Create and manage entity formation paperwork
• Prepare corporate governance documents
• Salary Range: $80-100k annually, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-3 years’ experience as a Corporate Paralegal at a law firm or supporting in-house General Counsel
• Must have experience with Funding, Financial Transactions, and Non-Disclosure Agreements
• Top-notch legal writing and proofreading skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
