The Corporate Trainer ensures maximum effectiveness of employee development by developing, implementing, and conducting necessary training programs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and work effectively with staff at all levels. Initiative and discernment are required to identify training needs throughout BrightStar Credit Union. This position is high-profile and impactful across the organization. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Conduct employee development & new hire orientation training, including job-specific systems, product knowledge, and certification training. Assist in needs analysis and develop programs to fulfill training needs. Collaborate with all departments to develop standardized training. Follow up with employees to assess additional training needs. Coordinate team meetings, prepare and distribute materials, produce videos and training materials for organization-wide distribution. Design training programs, including outlines, handouts, tests, exercises, quick reference guides, and online tutorials. Research ways to monitor and improve the member experience through various modalities. Stay updated on the Credit Union's computer systems and software changes. Coordinate regulatory training with the Compliance & Fraud department. Maintain records of training attended by employees for personnel and compliance records. Prepare and maintain all training materials. Monitor product knowledge updates. Assist with administrative tasks within LMS (BVS) and (ADP), including curriculum and learning program structures. Research instructional content (ADDIE model). Develop and implement training evaluation strategies to measure outcomes and impacts. Create educational content using Articulate Storyline2 or Adobe Acrobat. Performance Management Conduct employee development and new hire orientation training. Assist in needs assessments and program development. Design comprehensive training materials. Ensure compliance with BSA and related policies, including annual online courses. Minimum Qualifications 4-7 years of training experience in a financial institution. College degree (BS or BA) in a relevant field. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Interpersonal Skills Trust, diplomacy, courtesy, tact. Experience motivating, influencing, and training others. Desired: CPLP, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, experience with Articulate Storyline2, Captivate, Adobe Acrobat. Core Competencies Communication, Decision Making/Judgment, Customer Service, Job Knowledge, Initiative — all rated at 20. Compliance Uphold BSA, OFAC, and related compliance policies. Complete annual online BSA and OFAC courses. Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and policies. Physical & Work Environment Standard physical requirements; reasonable accommodations available.
