Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for any Cybersecurity Engineer Consultant looking for new challenges and wanting to work for a big company in New York City! The Consultant must demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence and possess technical proficiency in the deployment and/or management of cybersecurity technologies, such as Trend Micro Antivirus, RSA Secure ID, and Splunk. The Consultant MUST have the means to travel to various Company locations in New York. This job has in-person requirements, and post-COVID working arrangements require reporting to office locations at least four days a week. 
LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - Must be in the New York City Metro Area

Responsibilities:

• Work with others to implement new deployments of cybersecurity technologies such as Cyberark, Tenable, and other products
• Assist other upgrade efforts on existing infrastructure equipment to support 
• Create documentation and procedures for day-to-day and significant tasks as needed
• Determine and propose a suggested architecture for system deployments 
• Communicate and work with vendors and internal stakeholders on the deployment of technology
• 'COnfigure and set up systems 
• Create documentation and train others on the use of the new systems 
• Patch and maintain technology

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications:  (Please read carefully. They  MUST  be shown on your resume)

• Must demonstrate strong commitment to operational excellence, possesses technical proficiency in the deployment and or management of cybersecurity technologies such as but not limited to Trend Micro Antivirus, RSA SecureID, and Splunk
• Relevant working experience in a cybersecurity team or performing cybersecurity functions
• Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience working with personnel on all levels
• Must have the ability to lift/transport server equipment when needed
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and be flexible with work hours to respond to emergencies or scheduled work that must be done either before or after regular business hours
• Must travel to various Company locations and have a valid driver's license
• Experience with Anti-Virus Solutions such as Trend Micro Deep Security
• Experience with computer languages or scripting and PowerShell
• Experience RSA Secure ID
• Experience with Splunk
