About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Income Tax Manager to lead state, federal, and international income tax compliance and provision processes for our global manufacturing operations. Based in Dallas, this hybrid position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with strong internal career progression.

You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely income tax reporting while supporting strategic tax initiatives and cross-functional collaboration across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance:

• Oversee preparation and filing of U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Review tax filings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage external service providers supporting compliance processes.

Tax Provision:

• Lead quarterly and annual income tax provision processes under ASC 740.
• Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate tax accounting entries.
• Support external audit requirements and reporting.

Tax Planning & Strategy:

• Assist with tax research and planning to support business operations and strategic transactions.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess potential impact on the organization.

Risk Management & Controls:

• Maintain effective internal controls related to tax compliance and reporting.
• Support tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with internal teams including Finance, Treasury, and Legal to align on tax matters.
• Provide tax insights to support business decisions and ensure compliance with global tax obligations.

Qualifications & Experience

• CPA, JD, or Master's in Taxation/Law required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant tax experience, ideally from a mix of Big 4/public accounting and industry .
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of ASC 740 and tax provision processes.
• Proficient in tax software and financial systems (e.g., OneSource, SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
