Job Title: US Tax Operations Analyst

Position Summary:
Join a leading financial services firm as part of the US Tax Operations team. This role supports Gain & Loss functions within Wealth Management, ensuring IRS compliance and accurate regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in both independent and collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cost basis records and provide Gain/Loss reporting for MS Wealth Management accounts
• Work cross-functionally with operations teams to resolve inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance
• Reconcile discrepancies between internal systems and client data
• Support annual tax reporting deadlines and ensure reporting accuracy
• Assist with testing and implementation of platform improvements and strategic initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent financial industry experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial data processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt in a fast-paced environment
