Videographer And Photographer Position

The full-time videographer and photographer position brings digital, print, and advertising media projects to the finish line by turning raw footage, interviews, and photographs into powerful, engaging stories for Hubbell's corporate brand and its divisions. This position is responsible for producing, creating, executing, and editing video content and photography specifically intended for social media, internal company use, supporting documents and presentations, event promotion, and external marketing uses.

The work schedule is semi-flexible with designated hours as Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening or after-hours work may be required on occasion.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Storyboards video concepts and ideas, shoots and edits produced videos for marketing campaigns and other divisions of Hubbell Realty Company including Hubbell Homes, Origin Homes, Embarq Signature Homes, Indigo Living, Construction Services, Development and more. Leads weekly video meetings with marketing team members to brainstorm/storyboard concepts and update progress.
  • Works with various stakeholders, department leads, on-site teams, and community members to brainstorm and create compelling storylines that complement existing content, support breaking news, and other corporate, social, and sales initiatives.
  • Assists marketing team with implementing video campaigns in a timely and accurate manner and assists with troubleshooting.
  • Create, shoot, and edit interior/exterior real estate, event, portrait, and lifestyle videography/photography using various real estate products throughout central Iowa as the setting and focus. Content will be used in media platforms such as magazine, print, mixed-media and video ads, and all social media platforms.
  • Works alongside Communications Manager to audit, upload, organize, and maintain a cohesive digital asset management system, comprising all Hubbell assets.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in videography, film, media production, broadcast journalism and mass communications, and/or other related visual fields
  • Minimum three to five years of videography experience required.
  • Real Estate or professional photography editing and experience required
  • Knowledge of Greater Des Moines preferred.
  • Proficiency using mirrorless camera systems, mic, audio recording devices, professional lighting equipment, and editing software required.
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom preferred
  • Part 107 Commercial Drone certification and experience with DJI products preferred.
  • Experience in lighting, preparing, and executing interview-style video shoots
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for traveling to video shoot locations
  • Must remain alert at all times to perform essential functions

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
